Add Metafields in Bulk

Create new metafields for all resources that match your filters, or update existing ones with matching namespace and key.

Steps

1. Select Action Type

Choose "Create or update metafield" from the action dropdown.

2. Choose Metafield Source

Click the "Select metafield" button to pick which metafield to create.

3. Populate Required Attributes

Field	Description
Type	The data type (text, number, date, etc.)
Namespace	Logical grouping for the metafield
Key	Unique identifier within the namespace
Value	The actual data to store

4. Handle Existing Metafields

Enable "Replace existing metafield values" to update the type and value of metafields that already exist with the same namespace and key.

5. Run Multiple Actions

Configure up to 5 concurrent bulk edits using the "Add new action" button. Each action runs independently against your selected resources.
