Supported Resources
Metafield Studio supports metafields across all major Shopify resource types:
- Products Products, Product Variants, Collections
- Content Pages, Articles (Blog Posts), Blogs
- Store Shop (store-level), Metaobjects, Locations
Non-Supported Resources
The following resources are not supported by Metafield Studio:
- Orders
- Draft Orders
- Customers
These resources contain highly sensitive data, personal customer information, payment details, and order history. For privacy and security reasons, metafields on these resources must be created, edited, and removed manually by the store owner through the Shopify admin panel.
