Variant Link / File Block

Display variant-level links and files on your product pages. This block works the same as the Link / File block but sources data from product variant metafields.

Supported Metafield Types​

Same as the Link / File block 8 types including URL, Link, File reference, and Product/Variant/Collection/Page/Blog post references.

Configuration​

  1. Copy the correct namespace and key from your variant-level metafields
  2. Paste them into the block configuration in the theme editor

Product-Level Fallback​

The fallback feature uses product-level metafields as placeholders for variants that don't have their own values. This is enabled by default and can be disabled in the block settings.

  • Variant has its own metafield → variant value is displayed
  • Variant lacks the metafield → product-level value is used

Customization​

All customization options are identical to the Link / File block link behavior, list formatting, styling, and icons.
