Variant Text / HTML Block

Display variant-level text metafields on your product pages. This block works the same as the Text / HTML block but sources data from product variant metafields.

Compatible Metafield Types​

Same as the Text / HTML block 10 types including single-line text, multi-line text, rich text, numbers, dimensions, volume, and money.

Configuration​

  1. Copy the correct namespace and key from your variant-level metafields
  2. Paste them into the block configuration in the theme editor

Product-Level Fallback​

By default, the block falls back to product-level metafields for variants that don't have the metafield set. This means:

  • If a variant has its own metafield → the variant value is displayed
  • If a variant lacks the metafield → the product-level value is used instead

This fallback behavior can be disabled in the block settings if you only want to show variant-specific data.

Customization​

All customization options are identical to the Text / HTML block text colors, backgrounds, list formatting, spacing, and content wrapping.
